Pool Rules
Holly Oaks is graciously allowing us to use their pool for practice this summer. That being said, it was built in 1962, so their pool manager has asked us to treat it nicely! They don't have too many rules, so please, please, please follow them:
NO RUNNING on the pool deck, just like at every other pool, ever.
EQUIPMENT during practice should be by the side of the pool, walkways always clear!
NO HANGING ON THE LANE LINES! They aren't quite as old as the pool itself, but they've still been around for longer than some of us have been alive. They have, and will, break!
BATHROOMS are located in the bath house (the smaller, green building), girls on the right, guys on the left.
Again, we are guests at this pool! Holly Oaks ALWAYS reserves the right to remove anyone from the premises that poses a threat to the safety of him/herself and/or others.
Parking
Pretty self-explanatory, but we ask everyone to be mindful of the following:
NO SPEEDING, please! We share the parking lot and facility with a multitude of kids' sports teams, so there are usually children and families out there! We also have a handful of stray cats.
DON'T PARK IN RESERVED SPOTS. They're only two of them, and they are clearly marked with signs, but Holly Oaks has had issues with this in the past. Please be respectful and don't park in the pool manager's parking spot!
NO FEEDING THE CATS. We love them too. Don't worry, they are well-taken care of! Please don't leave any food for them out in the parking lot!
USA Swimming SafeSport
Because we share the pool with a USA Swimming club team, we ask that everyone be aware of USA Swimming's SafeSport abuse prevention program policies. They can be found here.
